Growing on a dry sunny site with sandy/rocky soil can be a challenge, but there are some secrets for success that will result in a beautiful garden like this.

You can grow veggies in a small space like a patio or balcony.  And you have a lot of choice in what kind of container to use: here we have tomatoes growing in an antique wheeled shopping cart.

Maybe you want to give the fairies a place of their own in your garden?  Or maybe just something that will delight the kids’ imaginations – fairy houses make a fanciful addition to any garden.  This pottery fairy house was created by Marcia Barron.

If you are short on space, you can plant veggies in garden beds, and they can look as beautiful as any other plant in your garden.  Here is Swiss Chard growing in the Montreal Botanical Garden.

How It Works...

When you contact Queen Bee, we will be happy to discuss your gardening needs with you on site at your property.  This first visit is free of charge, and then we’ll give you a price estimate for the work you want done.

For regular gardening services such as garden maintenance and garden sitting, pricing is based on an hourly rate.

For larger projects, like design and planting of a vegetable garden, pricing is based on the details of the project and can include plants and materials.  At our first visit, we will find out how involved you want to be in the project.  For example, you might want to do a lot of the work yourself, and have Queen Bee provide coaching and resources.  Remember, we want to create gardeners too, not just gardens!

We look forward to gardening with you!
